Mohamed Salah has broken a long-standing Premier League record held by Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba.
The Liverpool ace achieved the milestone after shining in his side's 6-0 huge win over Leeds United in a thrilling EPL clash played on Wednesday night, February 23.
Despite his Africa Cup of Nations heartbreak, Salah has appeared to put those frustrations behind him to hit top form with the Reds.
Salah, Mane combine to sink Leeds
The Egypt international was in the best form of his life as Liverpool hammered the Whites at Anfield to keep their title hopes alive.
The prolific forward combined perfectly with Sadio Mane to inspire their side to a huge victory.
The duo struck a brace each to secure the comfortable win for the Merseysiders, with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk also getting their names on the scoresheet.
Salah breaks Drogba record
Salah's two goals against Leeds meant he has now contributed to 160 goals in the Premier League, with the vast majority of that coming during his spell at Liverpool.
According to Mirror UK, Salah's 160-goal contribution effectively breaks Drogba's record of 159.
The feat means Salah is now Africa's all-time leading goal contributor in the history of the Premier League.
Incredibly, the Egyptian has achieved the milestone in 72 fewer games than the Chelsea and Ivory Coast icon.
