Ghana defender Harrison Afful is set to rejoin the Black Stars for next month's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

But according to a report on Ghanaweb, new Black Stars coach Otto Addo is ready to count on the experience of the former Esperance defender in the crucial game against the Super Eagles.
Addo, who is seeking to qualify Ghana for their third World Cup after a disappointing spell at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, is expected to invite Afful to compete with current first choice defender Andy Yiadom.
