Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen was spotted taking notes during the English Premier League match between Arsenal and Brentford in London on Saturday.
The Gunners hosted their London rivals Brentford at the Emirates Stadium, with the North London club winning 2-1 to bolster their top-four hopes.
Seen in the stands was Nigeria caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen who concealed himself under a black basketball cap and sitting next to two friends.
Eguavoen has been tasked to qualify Nigeria for the World Cup after being retained in his position as interim technical adviser of the national team.
And on Saturday, he went on a personal scouting mission to watch Ghana's Partey in particular.
Another Ghanaian international, Tarique Fosu, missed out on action for Brentford as he failed to pass a fitness test for the game after recovering from a long-term injury.
His teammate, Nigeria's Frank Onyeka was an unused substitute for the Bees against the Gunners with his national team coach in attendance.
After the game, Eguavoen posed for a photo with a Ghanaian fan, who tweeted that he told the Nigerian coach, Ghana will qualify for the World Cup ahead of the Super Eagles.
Ghana will welcome their fiercest rivals, Nigeria, in the first leg of the final hurdle for the FIFA World Cup playoffs on March 24 in Cape Coast with the return leg scheduled for Abuja three days later.

Augustine Eguavoen Congratulates Super Eagles Star
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Augustine Eguavoen was delighted for Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi as the midfielder made his 200th appearance for Leicester City in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, February 17.
Ndidi has been an outstanding performer for the Foxes since joining the Foxes from the Belgian Jupiler League and was amongst the scorers in the 4-1 victory over Randers in Europe’s third-tier competition.
Eguavoen who was present at the King Power Stadium has now congratulated Wilfred Ndidi for achieving the milestone with Leicester City.
