The first installment of the Super Clash between Ghana's most glamorous clubs Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko ended in a goalless stalemate.

The titanic clash garnered massive attention before the encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium and the two decorated clubs did not disappoint.

In photos posted on social media, the match saw huge attendance from fans of both sides as the points were split.

The game was an outstanding match and had to be played on Sunday as the final match of the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

How the game happened at the Accra Sports Stadium

Hosts Accra Hearts of Oak started the game the brightest of the two sides, creating several opportunities in the early minutes.

The best chance fell to forward Kwadjo Obeng Jnr, who was set up by strike partner Daniel Barnieh and had only the goalkeeper to beat but his strike from just outside the box hit the post.

Moments later, Barnieh had a glorious opportunity to break the deadlock but the Ghana U20 star could not finish for the Phobians.

In-form Kotoko forward Frank Etouga had the best chance for Kotoko but his effort could not trouble the Hearts of Oak goalie, Richard Attah.

After the break, Kotoko looked more dangerous in the early minutes with Etouga and Richard Lamptey coming close.

Marquee Hearts signing, Sulley Muntari who had a decent 60 minutes was replaced by Fredrick Ansah Botchway but that could not change the outcome of the game.

Former Kotoko midfielder Stephen Oduro reveals how the club spent money on juju

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Stephen Oduro, a former player of Asante Kotoko has made an interesting revelation of how the club included a 'juju' expenditure in their budget presented to the team's patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

According to the ex-footballer, an amount of GHC 80,000 was spent by the club for black magic commonly known as juju in Ghana.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Oduro who is now based in the United States explained the situation as it led to the sacking of former coach Abdul Razak.
