Amazulu fans are still buzzing after their team’s win over Horoya Athletic Club in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

But it’s not the win that fans are talking about so much, it’s more that wonder goal by Luvuyo Memela.

Memela capped off a great build-up from Usuthu's midfield and forwards, with a beautiful backheel to give Amazulu the lead in the 31st min, Times LIVE reported.

Amazulu would hold on to that lead for the rest of the game to pick up their first points of the season, Sport24 reported. Horoya Athletic Club did show great spirit in the second half as they took the fight to the Usuthu, but Amazulu were resilient at the back.

Benni McCarthy’s Amazulu side has their first points in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League. Usuthu beat Horoya Athletic Club 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban thanks to a brilliant finish by Luvuyo Memela.

The midfielder produced something akin to a Bobby Firmino or Cristiano Ronaldo finish, as he neatly spun, and with his back to goal, neatly flicked the ball behind him and into the net, Sports Brief monitored.

The superb finish came after some nice build-up play by Amazulu's midfielders, with Augustine Mulenga drilling in the low cross which Memela scored. The goal came at the half-hour mark and Amazulu held onto the lead for the win.
