Augustine Eguavoen was delighted for Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi as the midfielder made his 200th appearance for Leicester City in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, February 17.
Ndidi has been an outstanding performer for the Foxes since joining the Foxes from the Belgian Jupilar League and was amongst the scorers in the 4-1 victory over Randers in Europe’s third-tier competition.
Eguavoen who was present at the King Power Stadium has now congratulated Wilfred Ndidi for achieving the milestone with Leicester City.
"Great to see our boys play yesterday [on Thursday] at Leicester. Congratulations to Wilfred [Ndidi] on his goal and 200th appearance for the club," Eguavoen posted on Twitter.
Wilfred Ndidi will be in action again for the Foxes as they bid to resurrect their Premier League form when they play against Wolves on Sunday, February 20.
Eguavoen excited to meet Ademola Lookman
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s technical adviser, Augustine Eguavoen has expressed his happiness in meeting the new Super Eagles start, Ademola Lookman.
According to a report via Punch, FIFA approved Lookman’s request to switch nationality from England to Nigeria.
Lookman will now be in contention to represent the Super Eagles in their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Ghana in March.
Nigeria and Ghana will faceoff in the final round of the World Cup qualifiers with the Black Stars hosting the first leg on March 24 with the reverse fixture to be played in Abuja on March 29.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Augustine Eguavoen has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles will qualify for the FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar in November 2022.
