Horoya Athletic Club or Horoya AC are expecting a tough encounter when they take on Amazulu in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
Horoya AC and Amazulu both come into the encounter on the back of defeats in their opening group games. Amazulu were beaten by Raja Casablanca while Horoya AC was beaten by El Setif.
Despite Amazulu losing their opening match, Horoya AC coach, Lamine N'Diaye believes the South African team will be a tough encounter. According to Soccer Laduma, N’Diaye said that just because Amazulu had lost their opening game, didn’t make their performance a bad one.
"With AmaZulu, we will make sure we play very well, we don't make mistakes because we want to get the three points,” he was quoted as saying.
While N’Diaye showed tons of respect for the South African team, it is Amazulu who should be wary of their opponents.
Horoya AC is Guinean champions and has won the title a record 18 times already. They have also faced off against South African opposition in the past four years.
Horoya AC has beaten Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates and drawn with Kaizer Chiefs.
Amazulu though is confident that they can use the home-ground advantage to mastermind a win over the Guinean champions.
As reported by Times LIVE, Amazulu’s players believed that playing at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban would be a big booster for the team.
