“Before the 2019 AFCON, I asked questions about the four trophies that we have won and I was told that we lost the trophies during the Coup when the National Sports Council Office was ransacked.”

Only three countries have won the trophy for keeps. Egypt, Ghana and Cameroon are the countries to have achieve such a feat.

Meanwhile the Ministry of Youth and Sports reported few years ago, it has found the Abdelaziz Abdallah Salem Trophy.
