Ghanaian youngster Felix Afena-Gyan has signed a multi-year deal with sportswear giant PUMA.
Afena-Gyan, who plays for AS Roma in the Italian Serie A, will work closely with the sportswear company in engaging and inspiring the youth to take the game to the next level.
His athlete management company, Arthur Legacy, announced the profitable deal via their Twitter page on Tuesday, with the caption:
Felix Afena Ohene-Gyan is the new member of the @PUMA family. Congratulations @ohenegyanfelix9 @OliverArthurALS. #arthurlegacysports.
The 19-yea-old will now join the brand's elite pool of athletes which includes the likes of Luis Suarez, Neymar, Christian Pulisic, Antoine Griezmann to name a few.
Afena-Gyan moved to Italy in January 2021 from Ghanaian-based lower-tier side EurAfrica Academy, and after just 9 months, earned his first professional contract.
A few weeks later he made his debut and in November last year, he became the first player born in 2003 to score in the Serie A.
Afena-Gyan has gone ahead to make 13 appearances for AS Roma across all competitions and scored two goals in the process.
He was handed a call-up to the senior national team of Ghana for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations but failed to turn up.

Felix Afena-Gyan has chalked another incredible feat in his young career after emerging the fastest player in the Italian Serie A.
The 19-year-old was named the fastest player in January after a very good start to the year with Italian giants AS Roma.
In a post on Twitter by Serie A, the young forward beat Lazio's Ciro Immobile to emerge top of the quickest players in the league.
