Chelsea legend Frank Lampard and his wife Christine have announced the arrival of their baby boy.
Their son Frederick George Lampard arrived last week and have returned home from the hospital in a "bubble of absolute joy" with the rest of their family.
The former Blues manager already fathers three children; Patricia Charlotte, Luna Lampard, Isla Lampard before his family's new addition.
Meanwhile, a close source to the family confirmed that both Frank and Christine are delighted with the new development. The unknown person told The Sun:
"Christine and Frank are over the moon after the birth of their little boy. His name is Frederick George but he will be Freddie for short.
"The family are back home now and in a bubble of absolute joy and happiness. Christine gave birth last week and everything went smoothly.
"Mum and baby are both doing really well and Frank has been spreading the happy news. He has been sending out messages and he's clearly proud as punch. Patricia is already a sweet big sister and the whole family are in a happy bubble."
Frank and Christine confirmed the happy news on Instagram today, saying:
"Let us introduce you to our newest addition...Frederick (Freddie) George Lampard! We are completely in love."
Lampard will now be engaged with changing diapers and the likes having being fired by the London club late in January for a poor run of results in the Premier League.
Legit.ng earlier reported that ex-Chelsea star Solomon Kalou has taken to social media to announce the arrival of his baby girl with his partner Karina Ferreira.
The 35-year-old who currently plays for Brazilian club side Botafogo posted the feet of the newborn on his official Instagram page.
