- Here is a look at Ghanaian footballers who can steal your heart and make your Valentine's Day a memorable one
The 14th of February, known as Valentine's Day, is a tradition around the world where couples declare their love and admiration for each other.
In the beautiful game, many footballers have already gotten into the spirit of love leading up to the day, and these Ghanaian players cannot be left out:
Daniel Kofi Kyereh
The St. Pauli star man believed he proved himself as one of the best players for Ghana while representing his country at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and he could certainly be someone’s one and only on Valentine’s Day.
There may not be any love lost between Kyereh and opposition midfielder and defenders on the pitch on a matchday, but St. Pauli will certainly be celebrating their own love story if they go on to qualify for the Bundesliga next season.
Joojo Wollacott
Whether it’s your favourite bunch of flowers or your first choice when it comes to a selection box, Ghana goalkeeper Wollacott has all bases covered.
His love affair with the national team may hit a rock following his poor showing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, but he will be hoping a new romance with the Black Stars can blossom when Ghana face Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.
Kevin-Prince Boateng
Former Tottenham, Schalke and Barcelona midfielder Boateng's career may have fizzled out before he reached his 32nd birthday but in his prime, he was one of the most exciting central players from Africa.

Andre Ayew
Andre knows how to lead the line on the football pitch and if the end goal on a Saturday is to find the back of the net, then surely a wedding is the desired result of any good love story.
The Black Stars forward has certainly enjoyed loving relationships at previous clubs Marseille and Swansea, while he is continuing to produce the goods on a regular basis at current club Al Sadd – he has 12 goals in 14 appearances this season.
Sulley Muntari
The combative may have made a career out of ‘breaking up’ opposition attacks, but he is still capable of conjuring up some magic, particularly when it comes to shooting from distance.
The 37-year-old recently completed his switch to Hearts of Oak and may be approaching the twilight of his career, but it does not look like he is ready to call time on his career and cuddle up on the sofa just yet.
