Erling Haaland Holds Talks With Manager of Top Spanish La Liga Club Ahead of Possible Summer Move

Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland is said to be in talks with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane as the striker is billed to leave Germany this summer.

Mirror reports that the negotiations could see the Norwegian move to the La Liga club as Los Blancos are desperate in landing the striker.

European giants Barcelona, as well as both Manchester Clubs, are also jostling for the signature of the 21-year-old but a sponsorship deal could see Real Madrid eventually land him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It was gathered that Haaland looks to swap Nike for Adidas as he has been with the American brand for years, but he, his dad and Zidane spoke with Adidas according to Bild.

The youngster earlier declared that Zidane was his childhood idol and with Los Blancos being sponsored by Adidas, Haaland could also join the brand.

The La Liga giants are desperate in signing Haaland and Kylian Mbappe this summer as both strikers are expected to be on the market.

The former has a £65m reported release clause whilst the PSG star will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland gave a brutally honest interview when he was asked about his future.

The in-form striker admitted he was under pressure from his current club to quickly make a decision on his future.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke recently spoke on Haaland’s situation at the club, playing down everything by describing the striker as a “spontaneous person”.
