Daniel Kofi Kyereh inspired German club, St Pauli, back to the top of the Bundesliga II table with his match-winner against Jahn Regensburg on Sunday.
The in-form 25-year-old Ghana international needed only nine minutes to register his name on the scoresheet after returning from international duty.
In a post-match interview, the AFCON star expressed delight after the win and insisted St Pauli push for promotion to the Bundesliga.
"It was a hard-fought win. We did it together. We feel good, the mood is good, and we know what we're capable of. We work hard for it every day and will keep giving it our best shot," he said.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh is having an outstanding campaign for both club and country, and has now scored six goals and provided 10 assists for the Bundesliga II leaders.
His absence due to the Africa Cup of Nations was a huge blow for manager Timo Schultz men, as they struggled to win games. They were on a run of four games without a win before the midfielder's return.
At the Africa Cup of Nations, he was Ghana's best player despite the team's general poor display.
How St Pauli beat Jahn Regensburg

The 25-year-old increased the lead for Bundesliga II title chasers with a brilliant tap in after their 2-0 lead through Etienne Amenyido and Guido Burgstaller, with Andreas Albers pulling one back for the host.
A 73rd-minute goal from David Otto could not earn a point for the home side as the match ended in a five-goal thriller win for FC St. Pauli.
