Another missing Kenyan child who featured in a social media campaign initiated by Serie A giants AS Roma has been reunited with her family.

The good news comes just hours after the club confirmed a 13-year-old boy who went missing back in August 2019 had been found and returned to his family.

The boy featured in Henrikh Mkhitaryan's unveiling video at Roma after the Armenian completed his loan switch to Italy.

The boy was reportedly found on Sunday, September 15, the same day Mkhitaryan scored on his debut for Roma.

And barely 48 hours later, the Italian outfit announced the finding of an 8-year-old Kenyan girl who appeared in Chris Smalling's transfer announcement video shared on Twitter.

"AS Roma have today been informed by @missingchild_ke that an 8-year-old Kenyan girl featured in the @ChrisSmalling transfer announcement video has been found safe," the club tweeted.

Roma begun the social campaign in the summer in partnership with charities creating awareness on missing person.

Whereas they have received praise for the gesture, the club's head of strategy, Paul Rogers, insisted the campaign has nothing to do with "self-promotion."
