  • Ralf Rangnick wants his players at Manchester United to control their diet and stay fit this term in all competition
  • The German football gaffer has however banned all his players from eating bacon butties and also fizzy drinks
  • Manchester United even with Cristiano Ronaldo have not been finding things rosy this season in the Premier League

Ralf Rangnick who is the interim manager of Premier League side Manchester United has banned all his players from eating bacon butties going forward this season in all competitions.

Since Ralf Rangnick came on board as Manchester United caretaker boss, he has been trying to change the situation at Old Trafford even though things have not been yielding.

The German wants all his players to be fit 100 percent and has also ruled out burgers, fizzy drinks and booze for all the Old Trafford players.

According to the report on UK Sun and Marca, a source disclosed that Ralf Rangnick wants to be monitoring all his players going forward before and after games.

Statement by the source

“Ralf has high standards and wants to play a pressing game — but the players are not fit enough.
“He’s analysed all the data and identified what they need to cut out of their diets and eat more of.
“There’s no more bacon sandwiches or burgers on rest days and he’s banned boozing and ordered them all into the gym for extra sessions.”

Manchester United star sensationally says he thinks the team is cursed

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how David de Gea says he believes “someone put a curse on Manchester United as the goalkeeper claims he does not understand why the team does not function.

The Red Devils are enduring yet another average campaign so far, and in the last week, they have suffered an exit from the FA Cup and a frustrating 1-1 draw in the Premier League against bottom-placed Burnley.

They were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the third round and currently lie sixth in the Premier League, with the possibility of finishing outside the top four all too real at the moment.

United had a very positive transfer window in the summer, bringing in the likes of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
