Ademola Lookman who plays for Premier League side Leicester City has stated emphatically that he is eager to play for the Super Eagles after switching his allegiance from England to Nigeria.

World football governing body recently gave an approval for Ademola Lookman to play for Nigeria after featuring for England in Under 19, 20 and 21 levels.

The 24-year-old is now available for selection if the Super Eagles coach should pick him for the coming final World Cup playoffs against Ghana next month.

While speaking on the latest development about his career, Ademola Lookman posted photo of himself in Super Eagles jersey claiming that he can't wait to play for Nigeria.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has disclosed that Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia striker Odion Ighalo will return for the World Cup playoffs vs Ghana.

The Super Eagles will take on the Black Stars in March in a double-legged fixture and one of the teams will progress to the World Cup finals in Qatar.

Ighalo could not honour national call up for the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon due to issues with the club.

But Pinnick who visited the 32-year-old striker in Qatar, where he is representing his club at the FIFA World Club Cup, assured that the former Manchester United striker will return against Ghana.
