FootballRio Ferdinand Discloses the Major Problem Jadon Sancho is Having at Manchester United
- Jadon Sancho has not been impressive so far this season for Manchester United and fans are worried
- Rio Ferdinand has now stated clearly that Manchester United need to find rhythm so as to accommodate Sancho
- The England international has only scored three goals for Manchester United this season and fans want more from him
Rio Ferdinand has explained that Manchester United players need to understand the kind of footballer Jadon Sancho is so as for the English forward to succeed at Old Trafford.
Before the start of the ongoing Premier League season, the England international made his dream move to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund with fans expecting him to hit the ground running.
Unfortunately, the 21-year-old has not been able to deliver to the expectation of Manchester United fans netting only three goals in all competitions so far this term.
According to the report on Sportbible and Metro, Rio Ferdinand who succeeded at Manchester United explained that Jadon Sancho is suffering from the lack of Rhythm at the Red Devils.
Rio Ferdinand's reaction about Jadon Sancho
"The game played to his strength, the passing and movement, some rhythm in the team. If there’s no rhythm Sancho is not as good and effective. That’s what his problem’s been.
"The players have got to identify what he’s good at. Some thought he would come in and take the ball from the edge of his box to the goal. That’s not his game. He’s about rhythm, one touch passing, playing and moving and getting people off balance with a feint.
"He hasn’t been able to do that because the system at Man Utd has not worked yet. It’s left him in a vulnerable position.''
What is Manchester United position on the Premier League table?
After 22 games played so far this season in the Premier League, Manchester United are currently occupying fourth position on the table with 38 points.
