Meanwhile, Super Eagles right-back, Tyronne Ebuehi, was sent off in Venezia’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli in Serie A, Goal reports.

The defender who is on loan to the Italian club from Benfica was making his first appearance for the club since returning from the AFCON after Nigeria’s second-round exit.

Ebuehi was sent off for a reckless challenge late in the game that ultimately ended any fightback from Venezia after going one man down against a determined Napoli side.
