Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been included in Barcelona’s Europa League team as the Spanish giants prepare to play in Europe’s second tier competition for the first time in over fifteen years.
The Gabonese forward joined up with the Blaugrana after forcing a move from Premier League Club Arsenal where he was stripped of the team’s captaincy following disciplinary issues.
The 32-year-old put pen-to-paper on a deal until June 2025 which includes a buyout clause of £84million.
According to reports via Talks Sports and Complete Sports, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and fellow winter signing Adama Traore have now been included in Xavi’s squad for the Europa league.
Both players will give the Catalans more options in attack as Barcelona have struggled for goals this season as Aubameyang comes in with a proven track record while Adama Traore is always a menace down the wings.

According to Spanish news outlet Marca, the Catalans had to omit one of their four winter signings from their European squad, with Barcelona set to face Serie A side Napoli on February 17 and 24.
