Football fans have reason to rejoice after news broke that MultiChoice and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have agreed to a stellar deal.
After a two-year absence, SuperSport will once again broadcast the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup thanks to the deal.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Amazulu will compete in this season’s CAF Champions League while Orlando Pirates will represent the nation in the CAF Confederations Cup, The South African confirmed.
According to Soccer Laduma, SuperSport will broadcast the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation for the next two seasons as well as the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League 2022.
The breakthrough news has got fans excited as they finally get to see the best of South Africa taking on the best of Africa. fans also thanked Dr. Patrice Motsepe, CAF President, for making a significant difference while in charge.

FootballAl Ahly will compete in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and the tournament could see three South Africans reunite. Pitso Mosimane and Percy Tau could face off against Thulani Serero who currently plays at Abu Dhabi side Al Jazira, Sports Brief reported.
