Coach Carlos Queiroz has slammed Samuel Eto’o for branding the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations clash between Egypt and Cameroon as “war” and wants CAF to take action, Mirror reports.
Hosts Cameroon will face off with the Pharaohs on Thursday night and the winner of that clash will take on Senegal who are through to the final of the tournament, following a 3-1 win over Burkina Faso.
Mohamed Salah has also been impressive for the Pharaohs getting a goal and an assist as his side defeated Morocco in the extra time in the quarter-final.

FootballOn the other hand, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon eased past Gambia 2-0 on Saturday and moments after that game, Eto’o who was recently voted as FECAFOOT president compared the last-four clash with Egypt to "war".
The comments seem not to go down well with Egypt boss Carlos Queiroz who views the message as insensitive and inappropriate. Queiroz said, per BBC Sport.
"It's a very unfortunate comment, a very bad approach, a very bad message to the people of Cameroon.
"To make this declaration of war before one game [shows he] didn't learn anything when he was in professional football.
"Football is not about war. Football is about celebration, it's about joy, it's about happiness."
Meanwhile, Senegal are through to the final of this year's Africa Cup of Nations tournament after putting up a sensational performance to defeat Burkina Faso in the semi-final.
