Paul Pogba is close to making his first Manchester United appearance in three months after the midfielder made a miraculous recovery from an ankle ligament injury.

The 28-year old has not featured for the Red Devils since he picked up the injury in a Champions league game against Italian side Atalanta in November.

According to a report via the Daily Mail, Pogba is being considered to feature in Manchester United’s FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough on Friday February 4.

The French midfielder’s recovery will be good news for Manchester United fans as they continue their push to finish in the top four after having an inconsistent season.

Manchester United step up preparations ahead of FA Cup tie

Meanwhile, Manchester United stepped up their preparations ahead of their Friday night FA Cup game against lower division side Middlesbrough.

Edinson Cavani, Fred and Alex Telles were all missing from United’s training due to their involvement in the South American World Cup qualifies the Manchester Evening News reports.
