Following their failure to honor press conference ahead of their AFCON 2021 quarter-final clash with Morocco, Egyptian Football Federation have been fined $100,000 which is N41.5million by CAF disciplinary committee.
The CAF's disciplinary committee were livid with what the Egypt FA did and therefore imposed a fine on them ahead of their semifinal clash against Cameroon.
According to the report on Complete Sports and EuroSport, CAF issued a statement on the fine slapped on Egypt telling them to pay the money before their next game.

''CAF Disciplinary Board has imposed a fine of 100 000 USD, with 50 000 suspended, to the Egypt Football Association (EFA) for breaching CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 media protocols and directives.
“This is after Egypt FA failed to honour a media press conference on 29 January 2022 ahead of their match against Morocco in the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals in Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium which is part of the obligations for all the participating teams.''
Egypt will face the biggest battle of their campaign so far at the ongoing AFCON as they will face Cameroon who has been tipped to win the title.
