Ousmane Dembele who is a Frenchman playing for Spanish giants Barcelona has been slammed by the club's president Joan Laporta for his refusal to move to England before the close of the transfer window.
Before the transfer window was locked, Ousmane Dembele was linked with a move to Premier League with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal reported to be interested in signing the forward.
But despite being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, Ousmane Dembele rejected the chance to play in the English topflight and he will therefore remain at the Camp Nou.
According to the report on UK Sun and Marca, Ousmane Dembele rejected offer to leave Barcelona which the club's president was not happy with.
Joan Laporta's reaction about Ousmane Dembele
"He did not want to accept any of the proposals that have been offered to him.
"It's not good for him or for the club, the renewal gave us salary margin, but the positioning is not understood.
"We think he has an agreement with another club and we will act in our own interest."
