Bruno Guimaraes has stunned Newcastle United supporters when the newly signed midfielder opted to pick an infamous jersey number after signing for the Magpies this January.
The Brazilian will wear the not too famous number 39 jersey when he dawns the Black and White colors of Newcastle United after making a club record £43million from Lyon.
According to a report via The Sun, Bruno Guimaraes will be wearing the number 39 jersey in honour of his Dad who is a taxi driver back in Brazil.
Bruno Guimaraes dad’s cab number is known to be number 39 also and the former Lyon man has will be dawning the same number on his club jersey in respect to the man who raised him.
