Premier League side Liverpool have completed the signing of Colombian winger Luis Diaz from Portuguese side FC Porto according to reports by BBC Sport.
It was gathered that the deal is worth an initial £37.5mwith a further 15m euros (£12.5m) in potential bonuses as he signed the dotted lines with the Reds until 2027.
Diaz had been on the radar of other top clubs including Tottenham as Spurs earlier saw their bid of around £38m rejected.
Having joined Jurgen Klopp’s side, Diaz said:
"I'm very happy to sign for Liverpool.”
When is Diaz expected at Anfield?
However, he will need a work permit as he is expected to arrive in the UK until the latter part of next week, the earliest.
He has scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 18 league appearances this season for Porto, who are top of Portugal's Primeira Liga, Sky Sports reports.
Diaz was Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's main target for the summer transfer window when the asking price would have been closer to £50m but the Reds changed their stance when it became clear the winger could move elsewhere if they did not act.

Meanwhile, Juventus have enquired about the availability of Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, as the former Italian champions are seeking to boost the quality of their midfield.
According to a report via Sports Bible, Juventus have now made contact with the player’s representatives to see if the Euro 2020 winner can be prized away from Stamford Bridge.
