Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has compared Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos due to his incredible passing ability.
The England international has been supplying deft passes to teammates and his crosses are so good as they could be served on a silver platter, according to Mirror.
Ian Wright believes the player’s ability is so impressive that it defies everything this world represents and then went on to compare him to space juggernauts Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.
Bezos, Musk launch rockets into space
The Amazon and Tesla giants have probably launched more rockets into space than kicked footballs, so Wright’s praise perhaps raises an eyebrow out of context.
Wright said on the Wright’s House Podcast as per Fan Nation:
“I wanted to give Trent some flowers because I read something the other day. So, 50 Premier League players have four progressive passes per 90 minutes from open play.
“21 players have five, five players have six, two players have seven, no players have eight, nine or 10. Trent Alexander Arnold has 11.
"He is out there, he is gone. He’s Elon Musk, he’s Jeff Bezos, he’s gone to space, he’s gone somewhere else. He’s got to get flowers."
Liverpool made it three wins out of three in seven days after beating Crystal Palace 3-1 to put pressure back on Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. The Reds have now closed the gap at the top of the table to nine points with one game in hand.
Jurgen Klopp's men showed they meant serious business taking the lead just after just eight minutes thanks to a powerful header from Virgil Van Dijk from a corner.

Juventus plot move for Chelsea’s Jorginho
Sports Brief earlier reported that Juventus have enquired about the availability of Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, as the former Italian champions are seeking to boost the quality of their midfield.
According to a report via Sports Bible, Juventus have now made contact with the player’s representatives to see if the Euro 2020 winner can be prized away from Stamford Bridge.
This will be the second time the Old Lady have made a move to sign Jorginho as they were previously interested in his services when former Blues boss Mauricio Sarri was in charge of Juventus.
