Bruno Fernandes has penned a special tribute for Anthony Martial following the Frenchman's exit from Old Trafford.
Martial departed Man United on Wednesday, January 26, completing a loan switch to Sevilla for the rest of the 2021/22 season.
His exit came having played a minor role in United's campaign this term due to injures and poor form which limited him to just 11 appearances.
However, he now has a chance to rekindle his spark with Sevilla who are in the race for their first La Liga title since 1946.
His departure from the Theatre of Dreams appears to have brewed a somber mood at United, with Bruno taking to social media to send the Frenchman a touching message.
The Portuguese playmaker hailed his "special" connection with Martial, revealing he will miss linking up with him on the pitch.
"My friend... our connection on and off the pitch was always special. Wish you all the best for the rest of the season. Go and shine bro @martial_9," Bruno posted on Instagram.
5 players who could leave Man United this January
Earlier, Sports Brief reported several Man United players look set to follow Anthony Martial's footsteps and leave the club before the winter transfer window shuts.
It is understood those who want to leave are desperate to escape the clutches of the bench and join clubs where they can be guaranteed game time.
Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek headline a list of players tipped to depart the Theatre of Dreams.
The duo has found game time hard to come by at United, with Lingard said to be angry after Ralf Rangnick reportedly blocked his possible exit.
