Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has praised Achraf Hakimi as the best right-back in the world following his wonder goal at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Hakimi, who is currently on international duty with Morocco scored a stunning free-kick to inspire his country to victory over Malawi.
Morocco had to come from a goal down to edge The Flames 2-1 as they booked a place in the quarter-final of the continental tournament.
However, they had to rely on a moment of magic from their star man to secure the hard-fought victory on Tuesday, January 25.
Standing from about 30 yards out, Hakimi whipped one an impeccable free-kick into the far post with unerring accuracy and incisiveness to make it 2-1 for Morocco in the 70th minute.
Malawi were unable to respond as the tie ended in favour of The Atlas Lions who advanced to the last eight.
It was Hakimi who rightfully stole the headlines from the match, with fans flooding social media to praise his piece of individual brilliance.
Incidentally, Mbappe, who is teammates with Hakimi at PSG was among those who showered the Moroccan with praises.
"Achraf Hakimi. Best right-back in the world. Goodnight, guys," Mbappe tweeted.
Mbappe's tweet sparked a firestorm online, with many supporting the Frenchman's claim.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Morocco's Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final fixture against the winner between Ivory Coast and Egypt has been moved to a different venue.
