The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers play-offs between Ghana and Nigeria will miss three important players, with Andre Ayew and Benjamin Tetteh of the Black Stars suspended as Alex Iwobi of Super Eagles faces similar fate.
The three players received red cards during the Africa Cup of Nations and will not be available for the game in March.
Andre Ayew, who is captain of the Black Stars, picked up a red card in the final group game against Comoros after lunging his feet at Comoros goalkeeper Ben Moina. He was sent off after just 25 Minutes as Ghana went on to lose 3-2.

FootballMeanwhile, just before the Comoros match, Benjamin Tetteh had be given a three game ban following his role in the scuffle that ensued after the Ghana versus Gabon game.
The striker furiously punched a Gabon player after the match and had to be punished severely, which rules him out of the Nigeria game.
Alex Iwobi was sent off in Nigeria's 1-0 defeat to Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 game on Sunday evening. The Everton man will miss the first leg in Accra.
The West African rivals were drawn against each other in last week's draw.
