FootballSupercomputer Predicts Final Premier League Standings as Arsenal, Man United Chase UCL Spot
- Tottenham Hotspur have been tipped to pip Man United, Arsenal, and West Ham to a top-four place finish
- All four teams are well firmly in the race to seal a Champions League spot at the end of the season
- However, according to bettingexpert.com, Spurs are best placed to join Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea in the top four
A supercomputer has predicted Tottenham Hotspur will pip Arsenal and Man United to the last Champions League qualifying spot.
Spurs, Arsenal, Man United, and West Ham are all eyeing a top-four finish - with all the four teams in a pole position to play in Europe next season.
United are currently occupying fourth place following their 1-0 hard-fought win over the Hammers at Old Trafford on Saturday, December 22.
However, only three points separate Ralf Rangnick's men in fourth and seventh-placed Arsenal who have played two matches less.
Despite the clear stiff competition in the top-four race, bettingexpert.com's supercomputer has predicted Spurs will leapfrog United and the Gunners to the final top-four place.
In their prediction, Man City have unsurprisingly been backed to retain the Premier League title, with Pep Guardiola's men enjoying a 12-point advantage at the top.
Liverpool then follow in second place, with Chelsea tipped to finish third ahead of Conte's Spurs.
Arsenal will therefore have to contend with a Europa League place in fifth alongside United who have been predicted to finish sixth.
In the relegation battle, Newcastle have been backed to avoid the drop by a whisker, with Watford, Burnley, and Norwich heading to the Championship.
