FIFA U20 World Cup winner, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, says the Black Stars has collapsed and the country's needs a developmental plan to rebuild the national team.
Agyemang Badu announced his retirement from the Black Stars in 2020, but has since been following the team at international tournaments.
And after their disastrous Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Cameroon, the 31-year-old explained the FA needs to start a rebuilding from the scratch.
"The Black Stars has collapsed. Let's go for a developmental plan. If we qualify for the World Cup fine, if we don't, we shouldn't worry. Let's build from the scratch and stop comparing previous teams with the current one, If we keep relying on the old team, then we have a long way to go," he said on Connect FM.

FootballEmmanuel Agyemang Badu has been to several AFCON's with the senior national team and was a member of the team that reached the final in 2010 in Angola.
He was also part of the Black Satellites team that won the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009 in Egypt. His winning penalty will be forever remembered in Ghana's football history.
Agyemang Badu played 78 times for the Black Stars, scoring 11 goals for the national team.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will find their World Cup play-offs opponents today, January 22, in Douala.
Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars will be hoping to make Ghanaians proud by reaching the 2022 World Cup after a disastrous AFCON.
The team will find out their FIFA 2022 World Cup play-offs opponents in a draw to be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Douala, Cameroon.

FootballCAF has confirmed the draw will be held today, with the ten teams that qualified from the groups seeded into two groups, according to the FIFA rankings.
