Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has narrated how he fell in love with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez as he speaks in her upcoming Netflix series, SunSport reports.

The Portuguese striker met with the 27-year-old for the first time at a Gucci store where she worked as a sales assistant while living in a cramped shared apartment of about £250 per week.

Meeting and dating the five-time Ballon d’Or winner changed her life forever after they began their affair towards the end of 2016.

Ronaldo says he loved Georgina instantly and that is the beginning of their family. The former Real Madrid striker said via SPORTbible:

The Portugal captain and his girlfriend are the parents of four children - Cristiano Jr., 11, Alana Martina, 4, as well as twins Eva and Mateo, 4. Georgina is only mother to Alana, with the others born via a surrogate.

The pair recently announced that they are expecting a set of twins, and Georgina also disclosed that she was never interested in sport as a child.

Rodriguez said:

"The day I met Cristiano I go to work. I arrive at Gucci and, when I'm leaving the store, I see a very handsome man appear.

"I stopped and started to feel like tickles in the stomach and I said, 'But hey, what's wrong with me?'"
