Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze could be on his way to the Premier League in a deal valued at around €80 million this summer.

The 22-year-old winger was impressive for Villarreal this season - scoring five goals and assisting eight others in 40 appearances.

He has also been inspirational for the Yellow Submarines as they set up a date with Manchester United in the final of the Europa League this weekend.

Sources however reveal that the former youth international has been in contact with top EPL clubs while others from elite European leagues are also interested in him.

According to CaughtOffside and Give Me Sport, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are battling for the attacker's signature.

The source revealed that Chukwueze is 'happy' at his current club, he would 'definitely consider' leaving as long as the right opportunity comes that makes sense for him and the club.

Meanwhile, with an €80 million release clause attached to his current deal which expires in 2023, Villarreal may not entertain any offer lesser than that for the enterprising youngster.

Reports claim Liverpool might be planning to replace Sadio Mane with the Nigeria international while he could take the place of Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea.
