- United achieved the historic feat after their 3-1 win over Brentford in west London
- Goals from Elanga, Greenwood, and Marcus Rashford sealed the comfortable victory
Man United have inked their name in Premier League history books following their landmark win over Brentford on Wednesday night, January 19.
The Red Devils went into the clash off a poor run of form that had seen them surrender a 2-0 advantage to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa.
However, Ralf Rangnick's charges were able to put those woes behind them to record a 3-1 comfortable win at the Brentford Community Stadium.
While United were far off their absolute best, they did enough especially in the second half to see off a spirited Brentford side.
Academy graduate Anthony Elanga broke the tie's deadlock in the 55th minute before Mason Greenwood doubled the advantage in the 62nd minute.
Marcus Rashford, who came on as a substitute put the game beyond the hosts but Ivan Toney earned Brentford a consolation with five minutes left on the clock.
United's win saw them make history as they became the first English top-flight side to record 300 Premier League away wins.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils' comfortable victory still leaves them in seventh on the log albeit just two points off the top four.
They will be hoping to build on the moment in the upcoming fixtures which include a home tie against West Ham on Saturday, January 22.
