Spanish top club Barcelona could be in for a major shock as reports suggest Chelsea are planning on raiding the Catalonian club off three of its best players.
According to Spanish news outlet, Barca Universal, the London club are interested in signing three Barça players in the form of Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, and Sergino Dest and are ready to shell out an eye-watering €130 million for the three of them combined.
Frankie de Jong and Gavi have been key players for Barcelona since the arrival of new coach and former club legend Xavi Hernandes while Sergino Dest has struggled for game time in recent months.
The Sports Bible claim Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to put his hand in his pocket and attempt to 'destroy' an already weak Barcelona as he attempts to boost his team who are currently 12 points behind league leaders Manchester City in their pursuit of the Premier League crown.
Chelsea were underwhelming in the transfer market last summer as the Blues could only add Belgian Romelu Lukaku and Saul Niguez to their squad ahead of the current campaign.
Barcelona, however, are also struggling in the Spanish La Liga themselves with the club sixth on the league table and 17 points off Real Madrid at the top but it is believed the club’s financial issues might force them to cash in on all players.
