  • Ghana is in mourning this morning after being embarrassingly knocked out of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon
  • The Black Stars somehow lost 3-2 to lowly Comoros, which condemned them to the bottom of an unexpectedly tough Group C
  • Typically, South Africans still smarting from the controversy of the last encounter between Bafana Bafana and Ghana were really sad for their west African rivals

Ghana was ignominiously knocked out of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, and to no one's surprise, petty Bafana Bafana supporters were there to twist the knife.

In an upset to end all upsets, Comoros sank the Black Stars 3-2 in a must-win Group C encounter for the latter at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua. The result left the Ghanaians high and dry at the bottom of the group on one point, while Morocco and Gabon qualified for the last 16.

Victor Gomes will not referee Ghana vs Gabon, Petty Mzansi Fans Still Laugh at the Irony

The strictest referee on the African continent Victor Gomes will NOT be the man in the middle as Gabon takes on Ghana at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The group C encounter will take place at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé, with Algeria's Lahlou Ben Benbraham set to control matters.

Gabon comes into the match after defeating Comoros 1-0, while Ghana is looking to avoid elimination after being defeated by Morocco 1-0.
