Stunning footage of Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi looking casual during FIFA Best Awards on Monday night, January 17, has gone viral and fans have been reacting.
At the FIFA The Best Awards night, Lionel Messi had to settle for second position behind Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski who was named as the best player in 2021.
Lionel Messi and other nominees appeared via video call on the night, but fans were stunned with the Argentine's actions while the ceremony was going on.
Cameras panned to the 34-year-old, decked out in a plain white t-shirt, fiddling with his camera to try and find the best possible angle.
Other players had prepared themselves ready for the call with tripods and proper lighting, but Lionel Messi was unperturbed about such.
According to the report on Sportsbible and video on Twitter, Lionel Messi was also not moved when Robert Lewandowski was announced as the winner.
