Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland gave a brutally honest interview when he was asked about his future on Friday, January 14.
Haaland, one of the top marksman in world football at the moment, was on target once again with a brace as Dortmund brushed aside Freiburg 5-1 at the Signa Iduna Park.
The Norwegian, 21, has been linked with moves to Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and other European giants in recent months.
He remains a Dortmund player at the moment and with his current contract running until 2024, there are hints he could make an exit from the German club in the summer as his £68m is now active in 2022.
Speaking at the back of the emphatic win over Freiburg, Haaland admitted he was under pressure from his current club to quickly make a decision on his future.
“The last six months I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for Dortmund, but now the club has started to press me into making a decision,” Haaland told Jan Aage Fjortoft for Viaplay.
“All I want to do is play football. But they press me […] about my future, so that means I have to make a decision soon.”
This season, Haaland has continued his superb form for Dortmind, netting an impressive 21 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke recently spoke on Haaland’s situation at the club, playing down everything by describing the striker as a “spontaneous person”.

FootballWatzke was also adamant that the club could not wait until the end of the season for the striker to make his decision on his future.
Liverpool unwilling to meet Salah's demands
Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly at odds in trying to fulfil Mohammed Salah's contract demands.
The 29-year-old who earns well over £200,000-a-week is yet to renew his contract with the club as Liverpool continue to mount pressure.
The exit door is now left open for Salah as negotiations over a £500k-a-week contract demand is yet to be agreed upon.
