Arsenal fans on Thursday night, January 13, tried all their best to block Liverpool’s iconic anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ when they met with the Reds in the Carabao Cup semifinal.
Despite playing much of the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg match with 10 men, Arsenal players tried their best as they forced the home team to a goalless draw at Anfield.
Granit Xhaka was shown the red card in the early minutes of the game which forced Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to change his formation to a more defensive one against Liverpool.

Arsenal fans were in fine voice throughout the game and footage has emerged of the visiting fans attempting to outdo Liverpool’s famous atmosphere ahead of kick-off.
As the home support begins to sing the anthem, boos can be heard from the away fans in the Anfield Road stand.
