Chidozie Awaziem who is a Nigerian defender is now expected to miss the Super Eagles African Cup of Nations clash against Sudan this coming Saturday due to slight knock he picked.
The knock also ruled him out of the Super Eagles' first game against Egypt at the ongoing tournament in which Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winner for Nigeria.
And in his absence in the Nigeria's starting XI, Zaidu was given the chance by Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen and he did not disappoint as he kept Mohamed Salah out of the tie.
According to the latest report on Soccernet and Guardian, the 25-year-old defender won't be facing Sudan in Super Eagles next game as Nigeria will aim to qualify for the knockout.
