An old video of Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden criticizing Italian striker Mario Balotelli has gone viral on social media.
The viral footage shows a young Foden who was aged 10 taking aim at the former Manchester City forward while at the club’s academy.
Mario Balotelli spent three seasons at the Etihad stadium and was a member of incredible set of players that won City’s first league title under manager Roberto Mancini in the 2011/12 season with Argentine forward Sergio Aguero scoring with the last kick of the game to secure victory.
Balotelli was once dubbed “unmanageable” by his former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho because he regularly hit the headlines for his off-field antics.
The Sports Bible reports that the Italy international once drove into a women’s prison to “have a look around” and, in another famous incident, set off fireworks in his own home which caused a reported £400,000 worth of damage to his Cheshire mansion.
According to the Daily Mail, the now 21-year-old Foden during a trip to Italy with the Club’s academy was interviewed by a news station, and asked for his opinions on Balotelli.
'He's a good player but he's got a bad attitude off the pitch,' he said.
Balotelli, despite the chaos that appeared to follow him, enjoyed a successful spell with City. In 80 appearances, he scored 30 goals and recorded seven assists.
