Reports suggest Rashford and Lucia, both aged 24 rekindled their love before Christmas

The two love birds are believed to have rekindled their love shortly before Christmas.

The Sun reports Lucia, a university graduate, was spotted getting into Rashford's car after United's 1-0 loss against Wolves on Monday, January 3.

The 24-year-old has since hinted at the reunion on Instagram after she shared a cryptic photo of a tattooed man's hand believed to be Rashford's resting on her boot.

A source close to the couple divulged the two have been working things out to reunite and that the break was vital for their relationship.

“The break was good for their relationship as it offered them both space and assurance that they wanted to make this work moving forward," the source was quoted saying.

“They have been together since school so an opportunity to breathe and focus on themselves was important," the source added.

Marcus and Lucia are believed to have split up last May, with the latter moving out of the United star's home, with the Covid lockdown said to have created issues around them.

Before the split, the two had dated for eight years having met during their days back in school.
