AFCON 2021: Ghana's star boy Kamaldeen Sulemana finally joins camp, reason for late arrival disclosed

Bafana Bafana fans are clearly struggling to let go of South Africa's loss to Ghana in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
They came out in numbers to celebrate Morocco's defeat of the Black Stars in the opening match of group at the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon. A sucker-punch of a strike from Sofiane Boufal in the 83rd minute was the difference between the sides in what was an entertaining encounter at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé.
As reported on KickOff, sporting relations between South Africa and Ghana went sideways after the latter won 1-0 in a crucial encounter in west Africa. This was due largely in part to the performance of Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye, who drew criticism at home and abroad for his allegedly biased decision-making in favour of the Ghanaians.

FootballThe fallout from the match led to the South African Football Association appealing to FIFA as per News24, but this was tossed out by world football's governing body as being 'inadmissible'.
Mzansi social media has clearly not forgotten, judging by the reaction to last night's result.
