Football tournaments aren't all just about the game but sometimes the lifestyles, and one player who is hoping to have a memorable AFCON is 19-year-old Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Stade Rennes forward, since moving to Europe in 2020, has been spotted with different hairstyles for different competitions, and just ahead of AFCON 2021, he has a new style on.
In a photos posted on Twitter, sighted by SportsBrief.com, Sulemana is seen with a freshly braided hair before joining camp in Qatar.
The youngster is one of the players expected to shine at the Africa Cup of Nations, following his amazing displays in the French Ligue 1 this season.
Sulemana has since a meteoric rise to his career since he left Ghana, and he is a starter for Milovan Rajevac's Black Stars.
He played a key role in Ghana's AFCON qualification and was also a core member of the team as the Black Stars secured a play-offs spot in the World Cup qualifiers.
The former FC Nordsjaelland attacker has scored five goals across all competitions for Stade Rennes this season and his absence will be a huge blow for the club, who are currently fourth on the Ligue 1 table.
The Black Stars will begin their AFCON campaign with a game against Morocco on Monday, January 10, 2021.
