Former Chippa United player and current caretaker coach Kurt Lentjies will remain in charge of the club until the end of the season.
Chippa United recently made changes to their technical team and management as they try to avoid relegation this season.
In making the changes, Chippa United confirmed that Kurt Lentjies would remain in the position of head coach until the season ended Soccer Laduma reports. Lentjies was the caretaker coach at the club.
Lentjies replaced former head coach Gavin Hunt who was originally suspended over the club's poor results before he was eventually let go, The South African reported.
Chippa United find themselves 12th in the DSTV Premiership, just three points above relegation.
Following the news that he will be retaining the position, Chippa United fans took to Twitter to praise the decision, though a few remained sceptical.

FootballIn other PSL related news Orlando Pirates media officer Thandi Merafe has been arrested and charged for common assault in the aftermath of the drama ahead of the Buccaneers' clash against TS Galaxy last month.
Merafe, who was released on free bail after her arrest, was accused of slapping her TS Galaxy counterpart Minenhle Mkhize in the run-up to the moment Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi was manhandled and denied entry to Orlando Stadium's field and inner facilities.
As reported on Times LIVE, Mkhize laid charges of assaulted a few days after the disgraceful turn of events, which were caught on cellphone camera. TS Galaxy shared the footage on its Twitter account with the video going viral.
