Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool was explosive right from the first blast of the whistle as both sides took the game to eachother.
In the first minute, Liverpool made a counter attack and Mane slid the ball across for Salah, but fortunately for Chelsea, Rudiger was there to clear the ball into the path of Mendy who saved.
It was an extra-ordinary first-half of football as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead after poor defending by Chelsea.
The Senegalese opened the scoring in the 9th minute when Trevoh Chalobah made an uncharacteristic mistake before the player went round the goalkeeper before slotting home.
In the 26th minute, Mohamed Salah found the back of the net after the ball was played behind the Chelsea defence and the Liverpool attacker got on the end of it and slotted beyond Mendy to make it two-nil.
The Blues roared back late in the half and a wonderful volley from Kovacic and a neat finish from Pulisic to level the scores at the break.
In the 42nd minute, Alonso free-kick was put clear and from 20 yards out and on the volley, the Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic found the inside of the post and then the net.
On the stroke of half-time, the Blues drew level courtesy a Christian Pulisic effort as both sides went into the break; 2-2.
Chelsea should have gotten a third goal after Mason Mount got on the break and the ball dropped to the youngster who managed to direct it goalwards and just wide. It ended in a stalemate at the Stamford Bridge.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel is under pressure as his squad is depleted due to injuries to different players, as well as Covid crisis.
The manager has expressed frustration following Chelsea’s draw at home to Brighton in the Premier League.
He has now said that the Blues are no longer in this season’s title race, lamenting that ‘everyone is injured’.
The manager of Chelsea football club Thomas Tuchel further lamented the injury crisis that has plague his team, ruling out the club for this season’s Premier League title.
