French club Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that four of their players including Lionel Messi have all tested positive for the dreaded Covid-19, Sports Star reports.
Other members of the squad who have also tested positive are Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala ahead of their French Cup clash on Monday night.
According to the club, one member of staff is also affected; but the club had made the announcement on Saturday night without revealing the names of the affected.
A further statement on the team's medical news said the club named Messi, left back Juan Bernat, backup goalie Sergio Rico and 19-year-old midfielder Nathan Bitumazala, GOAL reports.

The Merseyside football club confirmed on Friday, December 31 2021 that three players and several staff members had tested positive for the virus but Klopp declined to name them.
At this stage, Liverpool have not asked for the Chelsea game to be postponed and have no intentions of doing so.
