Alonso on Hamilton’s Ferrari move
The Spanish driver cast doubt on Hamilton's assertion that driving for Ferrari was a "childhood dream," referencing recent remarks in which the Briton expressed his desire to remain with Mercedes for the remainder of his career.
"It wasn't his childhood dream twelve months ago, was it? Or even two months ago, I suppose, because back then it was a different dream," Alonso remarked, as cited by BBC F1.
The two-time drivers’ champion, however, continued, clearing the air regarding talks of him leaving the Silverstone-based team to replace Hamilton for 2025.
Alonso affirmed that he had not engaged in any discussions with anyone at Mercedes thus far. Although rumours regarding him replacing Hamilton next season have continued.
