- Lewis Hamilton has been handed a psychological boost ahead of the season
The 2024 Formula 1 season is fast on the horizon, and all 10 participating teams have released respective dates for their car launch, with others even going further to rename their teams.
Amid the fervour of anticipation from fans and drivers for the imminent launch and the commencement of the season, a plethora of predictions are circulating.
Recently, Aston Martin team principal, Mike Krack joined the discussion, forecasting that the race results for this season might echo those of the 2023 season.
Nonetheless, while it remains to be seen if the season pans out as predicted by the 51-year-old, a report from Planet F1 stating Mercedes AMG driver Lewis Hamilton has been handed a timely psychological boost has emerged.
Hamilton handed psychological boost
As per the report, the 39-year-old driver is set to welcome back his former right-hand man and confidant, Marc Hynes, to his team in preparation for the upcoming 2024 F1 season.
The return of Hynes brings a positive outlook for the British driver, particularly given his ongoing struggles and the absence of a victory since his last triumph in 2021 at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.
Hynes served as one of Hamilton's closest allies for many years, managing his business interests and holding the position of chief executive at the F1 star’s 'Project 44' management company.
The report emphasises that Hynes is rejoining Hamilton's team, but this time, his focus will be solely on racing activities as he supports the seven-time World Champion during Grand Prix weekends.
The anticipated return of Hynes is expected to provide valuable support for the seven-time world champion as he pursues his elusive eighth Formula 1 drivers’ championship title.
